نقلا عن مقال ــ( بعنوان : رزء فادح وخطب أليم )ــ لمُحرّري جريدة الصّراط السّوي ــ( رحمهم الله )ــ , والذي نشرته الجريدة في عددها الثاني عشر الصّادر يوم الاثنين 16 شعبان 1352 هجريّة المُوافق ل 4 ديسمبر 1933 للميلاد :
<< الجهل يعمي صاحبه ويرمي به في أسفل دركات الشّقاوة من غير تدبّر في عاقبة ما يصدر منه , ومن أين للجاهل أن يتدبّر عواقب الأمور ؟ وهو ذلك الجزائري المسكين الذي قطع مراحل حياته في ظلمة عمياء وجهل مطبق , لا يشمّ للعلم رائحة ولا يفهم للتّهذيب معنى ولا تزال القوّة التي بيدها تسيير أموره وتقرير مصيره تطارده عن مناهل التّهذيب والتّعليم , وتغلق في وجهه معالم التّعليم بكلّ ما أوتيته من وسائل الطّرد والحرمان ! ! !
فيا لله لهذه الأمّة المسكينة المغلوبة على أمرها كم تتزاحم على أهلاكها الويلات والشّرور من الخارج ومن الدّاخل ! ! ! >> .
