نقلا عن مقال بعنوان ـ( مُلك النّبوّة ( 3 ) ــ مجالس التّذكير ــ )ـ للأستاذ العلاّمة عبد الحميد بن باديس , والذي نشرته مجلّة الشّهاب في جُزئها الرّابع من المجلّد الخامس عشر , الصّادر في غُرّة ربيع الثاني 1358 هجريّة الموافق ل 21 ماي 1939 للميلاد :
<< جمع وتحقيق : قال الله تعالى : (<< أدخلوا الجنّة بما كُنتم تعملون >>) فأفاد أنّ الأعمال سبب في دخُول الجنّة , وفي هذه الآية (<< وأدخلني برحمتك >>) فأفاد أنّ الدّخول بالرّحمة ولا مُنافاة ما بينهما , فالأعمال سبب شرعيّ لدخول الجنّة والهداية إليه والتّوفيق فيه وقبوله هو رحمة من الله والعمل من حيث ذاته لا يستحقّ على الله جزاء لأنّه لا ينتفع به إذ هو الغنيّ عن خلقه وإنّما تفضّل فجعله سببا في نيل ثوابه , ثمّ تفضّل فجعل الجزاء مُضاعفا إلى عشر إلى أضعاف كثيرة إلى الموفى للصّابرين بغير حساب >> .
