نقلا عن مقال بعنوان ـ( مُلك النّبوّة ( 2 ) ــ مجالس التّذكير ــ )ـ للأستاذ العلاّمة عبد الحميد بن باديس , والذي نشرته مجلّة الشّهاب في جُزئها الثالث من المجلّد الخامس عشر , الصّادر في غُرّة ربيع الأوّل 1358 هجريّة الموافق ل 21 أبريل 1939 للميلاد :
<< تفرقة أخرى : إذا كان الموروث مالا فإنّه يُستحقّ بالقرابة شرعا , وإذا كان علما أو نُبوّة أو مُلكا فإنّها لا تُستحقّ بها , فلم يرث سُليمان من داوود ما ورثه منه لأنّه ابنه , وإنّما كان ذلك تفضّلا من الله ونعمة , ولهذا لمّا دعا سُليمان النّاس لم يذكر لهم أُبوّة داوود , وإنّما ذكر لهم ما كان به أهلا لمقامه ممّا خصّه الله به من علم وقوّة , ومظاهر المُلك ومُعجزة النّبُوّة >> .
