نقلا عن مقال بعنوان ـ( مُلك النّبوّة ( 3 ) ــ مجالس التّذكير ــ )ـ للأستاذ العلاّمة عبد الحميد بن باديس , والذي نشرته مجلّة الشّهاب في جُزئها الرّابع من المجلّد الخامس عشر , الصّادر في غُرّة ربيع الثاني 1358 هجريّة الموافق ل 21 ماي 1939 للميلاد :
<< النّعمة المزدوجة : إذا أنعم الله على الأبوين بنعمة الإيمان والصّلاح فهي نعمة على ولدهما إذا اتّبعهما وتكون تلك النّعمة من الله عليهما سيما في حُسن تربيتهما وتوجيهه في الوجهة الصّالحة , كما أنّ نعمة الله على الولد هي نعمة على والديه فهو من أثرهما ومثل حسناته في ميزانهما لأنّهما أصل ذلك وسببه ويدعو له النّاس فيدعون لهما ويدعو هو لهما , وقد يُؤذن له فيشفع لهما , فالنّعمة على الوالد أو على الولد هي نعمة مُزدوجة بينهما ولهذا ذكر سُليمان صلّى الله عليه وسلّم نعمة الله على والديه مع نعمته عليه >> .
