نقلا عن مقال بعنوان ـ( مُلك النّبوّة ( 2 ) ــ مجالس التّذكير ــ )ـ للأستاذ العلاّمة عبد الحميد بن باديس , والذي نشرته مجلّة الشّهاب في جُزئها الثالث من المجلّد الخامس عشر , الصّادر في غُرّة ربيع الأوّل 1358 هجريّة الموافق ل 21 أبريل 1939 للميلاد :
<< تفرقة : الشّيء الموروث إن كان من أمور الدّنيا وأعراضها ومُتناولات الأبدان ومُتصرّفاتها فإنه ينتقل بذاته من الميّت إلى الحيّ وينقطع عنه مُلك الميّت , وما كان من صفات الرّوح فإنّه لا يُفارق الميّت ــ لبقاء الرّوح ــ وإنّما يقوم الحيّ مقام الميّت في أداء ما كان يُؤدّيه الميّت من أعمال مُتّصفا بمثل ما كان مُتّصفا به الميّت , مُتحلّيا بمثل حِليته , فإرث سُليمان للملك هو من المعنى الأوّل فداوود بعد موته لم يبق ملكا , وإرثه للعلم والنّبوّة هو من المعنى الثاني فداوود بعد موته على علمه ونُبوّته >> .
