نقلا عن مقال بعنوان ـ( العرب في القرآن )ـ للأستاذ العلاّمة عبد الحميد بن باديس , والذي نشرته مجلّة الشّهاب في جُزئها الثاني من المجلّد الخامس عشر , الصّادر في غُرّة صفر 1358 هجريّة الموافق ل 23 مارس 1939 للميلاد :
<< ( وإذا بطشتم بطشتم جبّارين ) لا بدّ لكلّ أمّة تسود وتقوى من بطش ولكنّ البطش فيه ما هو حق بأن يكون انتصافا وقصاصا وإقامة لقُسطاس العدل بين النّاس وفيه ما هو بطش الجبّارين والجبّار هو الذي يُجبرك على أن تعمل بإرادته لا بإرادتك فبطشه إنّما يكون انتقاما لكبريائه وجبروته وإرضاء لظُلمه وعُتوّه وتنفيذا لإرادته الجائرة التي لا تُبنى على شُورى وإنّما تُبنى على التّشهي وهوى النّفس لذلك لم ينقم منهم البطش لأنّه بطش وإنّما نقم منهم بطش الجبابرة الذي كلّه ظُلم >> .
