نقلا عن مقال بعنوان ـ( العرب في القرآن )ـ ألقاه الأستاذ العلاّمة عبد الحميد بن باديس في أحد الاجتماعات العامّة لجمعيّة العلماء , والذي نشرته مجلّة الشّهاب في جُزئها الأوّل من المجلّد الخامس عشر , الصّادر يوم الثلاثاء غُرّة محرّم 1358 هجريّة الموافق ل 21 فيفري 1939 للميلاد :

<< الله كما اختار العرب للنّهوض بالعالم كذلك اختار لسانهم ليكون لسان هذه الرّسالة وتُرجمان هذه النّهضة ولا عجب في هذا فاللّسان الذي اتّسع للوحي الإلهي لا يضيق أبدا بهذه النّهضة العالميّة مهما اتّسعت آفاقها وزخرت عُلومها >> .
