        نقلا عن مقال بعُنوان ـ( هل كان الشّيخ التّجاني وهّابيّا )ـ بقلم الأستاذ العلاّمة محمّد السّعيد الزّاهري , والذي نشرته جريدة الصّراط السّويّ في عددها السّابع الصّادر يوم الاثنين 11 رجب 1352 هجريّة المُوافق لـ 30 أكتوبر 1933 للميلاد :

        <<   وأورد صاحب الاستقصاء رأي حنابلة نجد في الزّيارة ودُعاء غير الله ثمّ أردفه بتفصيل من عنده في << زيارة الأنبياء >> ثمّ قال ما نصّه : << وأمّا الأولياء فالقول بمنع زيارتهم مع بيان علّتها . . .  هو قول وجيه , تقتضيه قواعد الشّريعة المطهّرة , وهذا القول هو الذي رآه الشّيخ الفقيه الصّوفي أبو العبّاس أحمد التّجاني رحمه الله حتّى نهى أصحابه عن زيارة الأولياء ( راجع الاستقصاء ج 4 ص 146 ) . . >> .
