نقلا عن مقال بعُنوان ـ( جمعيّة العُلماء المُسلمين وأوشاب القوم المُفسدين )ـ للعلاّمة محمّد تقيّ الدّين الهلالي , والذي نشرته جريدة الصّراط السّويّ في عددها السّادس الصّادر يوم الاثنين 4 رجب 1352 هجريّة المُوافق لـ 23 أكتوبر 1933 للميلاد :

<< النّاس لم يكونوا يأملون من أهل الجزائر الذين يظنّون أنّهم نسوا العربيّة والإسلام من زمان حتّى إنّ المسبوق منهم إذا دخل المسجد ليُصلّي ورأى الإمام راكعا قال له << أتاندي مسيو >> بدلا من قول المسبوق في مِصر للإمام إنّ الله مع الصّابرين , يريد منه بذلك انتظاره ليُدرك الرّكعة >> .
