نقلا عن مقال ــ( بعنوان : من جهلك بالحق والباطل أن تُحاول إقامة الباطل بإبطال الحق )ــ للشيخ أبو العبّاس أحمد الهاشمي ـ( رحمه الله )ـ والذي نشرته جريدة الصّراط السّوي في عددها الخامس عشر الصّادر يوم الاثنين 8 رمضان 1352 هجريّة المُوافق ل 25 ديسمبر 1933 للميلاد :

<< التّصوّف في حدّ ذاته عند العارف المُنصف أوّله تبتّل وزُهد في الدّنيا ومُنتهاه الوصول بأهله إلى مقام الفناء فهو بهذا الاعتبار سِلبي بحت بداية ونهاية>> .
