نقلا عن مقال ــ( بعنوان : الوهّابيون سنّيون حنابلة ــ إيضاح وتعليق ــ)ــ للعلاّمة الأستاذ الزّاهري ــ( رحمه الله )ــ العضو الإداري لجمعيّة العلماء المسلمين الجزائريين ,عن جريدة الصّراط السّوي في عددها الخامس الصّادر يوم الاثنين 26 جُمادى الثّانية 1352 للهجرة الموافق ل 16 أكتوبر 1933 للميلاد :
<< بقي شيء واحد وهو قول الوزير :<< إنّ مُؤسّس هذا المذهب هو شيخ الإسلام ابن تيميّة , واشتهر به بن عبد الوهّاب , >> والواقع أنّ مُؤسّس هذا المذهب ليس هو ابن تيميّة ولا ابن عبد الوهّاب ولا الإمام أحمد ولا غيرهم من الأئمّة والعلماء , وإنّما مُؤسّسه خاتم النّبيّين سيّدنا محمّد بن عبد الله صلّى الله عليه وسلّم , على أنّه في الحقيقة ليس مذهبا , بل هو دعوة إلى الرّجوع إلى السّنّة النّبويّة الشّريفة وإلى التّمسّك بالقُرآن الكريم , وليس يهمّنا شيء آخر غير هذا >> .
