نقلا عن مجموع مقالات ردود جمعيّة العلماء المسلمين الجزائريين على النّائب المالي ابغ غراب بقلم رئيسها العلاّمة ابن باديس ــ( رحمه الله رحمة واسعة )ــ , عن جريدة الصّراط السّوي في عددها الثّالث الصّادر يوم الاثنين 5 جُمادى الثّانية 1352 للهجرة الموافق ل 25 سبتمبر 1933 للميلاد :
<< ثمّ يرمي الجمعيّة بأنّها تنشر المذهب الوهّابي , أفتعُد الدّعوة إلى الكتاب والسّنّة وما كان عليه سلف الأمّة وطرح البدع والضّلالات واجتناب المرديات والمهلكات نشرا للوهّابيّة أم نشر العلم والتّهذيب وحرّية الضّمير وإجلال العقل واستعمال الفكر واستخدام الجوارح ــ نشر للوهّابيّة ؟ إذًا فالعالَم المتمدّن كلّه وهّابي ! قائمة الإسلام كلّهم وهّابيّون ؟ ما ضرّنا إذا دعونا إلى ما دعا إليه جميع أئمّة الإسلام وقام عليه نظام التّمدّن في الأمم , إن سمّانا الجاهلون المتحاملون بما يشاءون فنحن ــ إن شاء الله ــ فوق ما يظنّون , والله وراء ما يكيد الظّالمون >> .
