ـ المحبّة في الله ومع الله :
... فالمحبّة في الله أن تحبّ من يحبّه الله ، والله يحبّ المحسنين و المتّقين ، و التّوابين والمتطهّرين ، و إذن تكون محبّة غير الله من معنى محبّة الله مقويّة لها غير متنافية معها ، والمحبة مع الله أن يتعلق قلبك بسواه ، فتغفل عن الله ، و تتوجه إلى غيره بالرغبة و الرّهبة ، فتكون محبتّك هذه مغنية عن محبّة الله منافية لها ، فالمحبّة في الله محمودة متعدية إلى كل داع إلى الله من الأنبياء المرسلين و الأولياء الصّالحين و العلماء العاملين .... ومعنى محبّة المرء لله أو في الله : أن لا تحبّه لطمع في الدنيا ، بل تحبّه لما عليه من الهدى و الاستقامة (ص265من كتاب الشرك ومظاهره).
