ـ آثار فقد العلم النافع في الأمم :
إن الأمّة متى فقدت العالم البصير ، والدّليل النّاصح ، والمرشد المهتدي ، تراكمت على عقولها سحائب الجهالات ، وران على بصائرها قبائح العادات ، وسهل عليها الإيمان بالخيالات ، فانقادت لعالم طمّاع ، وجاهل خدّاع ، و مرشد دجّال ، و دليل محتال ، و ازدادت بهم حيرتها ، واختلّت سيرتها ، والتبست عليها الطّرائق ، وانعكست لديها الحقائق ، فتتّهم العقل ، وتقبل المحال ، و تشرد من الصواب ، و تأنس بالسّراب ، هذا يتقدّم إليها بما له من أسباب خفيّة ، فتراه تصرّفا في الكون ، وذلك يلقي إليها بأقوال مجملة يُنزلها كل سامع على ما في نفسه ، فتراه من علم الغيب ، و تقول : " سيدي فلان جاء بالخير " ثم نجد من تسمّيه عالما يثبت قدمها في الخبال ، ويزعم لها أن الحقيقة في هذا الخيال .....(ص 161من كتاب الشرك ومظاهره).
